APERC Annual Conference

The APERC Annual Conference is an invitation-only event aimed at bringing together international energy experts and policymakers to discuss topical energy issues and challenges. Insights from the conference shape ongoing and future APERC research activities, including its triennial flagship publication of the APEC Energy Demand and Supply Outlook.

IEEJ / APERC International Energy Symposium

The first IEEJ / APERC International Energy Symposium was organized in 2015 as a special “pre-event” before the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (IEEJ) and APERC celebrated their respective 50th and 20th anniversaries in 2016. Since then, it has been held once a year as a major event for IEEJ and APERC to address worldwide topical issues in the presence of distinguished speakers and an audience of 300-400 people.

LNG Producer-Consumer Conference

Since 2012, APERC has co-hosted with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry an annual conference to invite energy ministers and corporate leaders from all over the world as speakers in a view to serving as a forum for producing and consuming countries to share views on the long-term prospects for liquefied natural gas (LNG) demand and supply and to promote cooperation toward greater transparency in LNG markets.
